See Dash Run. Run Dash Run.

The other day I was feeling lucky so I bought three raffle tickets for this really cool Electra Beach Cruiser bicycle. Turns out, it was my lucky day and my number came up.  So now I have a nice new blue bike. As a friend once described her bike "it is a sweet ride".  Sweet indeed.

Dash is thrilled because he loves to run.  He can go for miles.  Here is a little snippet.

We're Here

Dash is in Southern California hanging out with family and friends.  Here he is relaxing by the pool.

Dash likes to be comfortable and there are many spots around the pool that he finds to nestle in.

Dash is very careful around the water - he won't get too close and he never jumps in.  But I do.

We're here in So Cal and enjoying life. That is all the news from Dash Land for today.

More Adventures

Dash likes the Beach.

Here he is hanging with the girls playing Bocce Ball

Dash just stopped running - he is catching his breath.  Notice how his tail is on his left side?

On the Road

Dash is headed to Southern California.  Dash is a great traveler - he is fine on the airplane in his soft sided carrier tucked under the seat in front of me. In the car he is not as comfortable but he is getting there. We are driving down and here is Dash in his kennel in the front seat of the car.

We stopped to visit a friend along the way.  Dash is a very good houseguest I am told and our friend thinks he is very intelligent too. We had a great visit, including a trip to the coast yesterday.  Here is Dash at the beach.

I took some video too but I haven't figured out how to upload video from my smart phone to the computer.  I'll publish it once I figure it out.

Meet Dash

He is a 10 pound bundle of love and joy.  Dash is agile, fast and really really smart.  We rescued him two years ago from a puppy mill where he spent the first 8 months of his life in a cage.  They told us he is a Chihuahua/Papillon mix but we think he must have some Rat Terrier or Min Pin in him because his legs are so long.  What do you think?

The last picture above is from a sailing trip. Dash is adventurous. He is great on the boat and of course he wears a life jacket whenever he is on deck.  Here are a couple more pictures from that trip.

A couple of years ago we had three snow storms in a row in December which is quite unusual for our neck of the woods.  By the end of the third storm, most humans in our city were sick and tired of slogging around, if you could even get through the unplowed streets.  Dash, on the other hand, loved it. Check out this video.

Sometimes we seem to forget Dash is a dog but he always finds a way to remind us.  In this picture he is snuggled up in our closet in some dirty laundry at the bottom.

Dash is a traveling dog.  He loves it at our place in Southern California.  Every morning we meet up with other  dogs and their humans in the neighborhood park for some play time and conversation. Check it out.

Dash is headed back down to Southern California in a few days.  I'll update this blog along the way with his adventures.  Until then, all for now from Dash land.
